I finally got an intelligent, knowledgeable person at ipowerweb.com, who sucessfully removed the "lock" on my domain name and changed the DNS (web nameservers that keep track of "where" a web site is physically located) to my new host, Dreamhost.

I am hoping that the transition is a smooth one, but Murphy may rear his ugly head. I just started a new Ezboard for another organization this week, and all of my "welcome" and "guidelines" posts were zapped. Fortunately, there weren't any posts from anyone else, so the damage was minimal, but it still upsets me! I couldn't get in at all with IE6.

I'd get in like lightning with Firebird, could look at posts fine, but every time I tried to post or mark a forum read, it hung.
